This is a bespoke WordPress website to give a web presence for a Heritage Lottery bid to renovate the Court House in Warwick. We utilised a Woothemes layout and modified it to allow a chronological listing of key events (created as WordPress posts) and the ability to give a ‘thumbs up’ for articles and teasers ‘did you know’ facts to add interest.

Education Recycle

This is the main site for a group of websites that allow classifieds ads for education-related items for recycling. The items are free to collect. So far we have created county sites for Hertfordshire and Cornwall. The sites utilise a bespoke coded WordPress theme that has been highly customised and styled. The main site has a Flash animated map of the UK with links to each county site.

This WordPress based website also incorporates the powerful WordPress ecommerce plugin to also allow ecommerce functionality. The client can not only update content, but also products that can be hand-delivered or posted for next day delievery. We took her logo and design materials to create a website design consistent with her existing brand identity.

We have become expert in many aspects of custom coding for the WordPress CMS platform. In January 2010 a web design agency commissioned us to develop a website, based on their design, aimed at providing up-to-date information for the legal profession. This we achieved using templates for the different pages required and custom coding to provide bespoke functionality, including the business directory.

This popular community-based website was built on the WordPress CMS and utilises several plugins to extend the functionality. Additional features include a forum, Flickr image gallery, videos and interactive polls. The light-hearted and colourful design reflect the openness of the site, which allows members of the public to create accounts and contribute new material (‘posts’ in WordPress-speak) and make comments.

This WordPress site was commissioned by a sports journalist as a shop window for his tennis writing. The site is based on a theme by Woothemes, but has been highly modified and styled to give a strong tennis flavour. It includes a javascript slideshow highlighting recent content and a youtube video player. The sidebars include a reader poll and a news ticker using an rss feed from the most recent grand slam tournament.
